Changing base map to maintain current location

When a user changes from one base map to another SmarterWX takers the user back to the full Area of operations. Sometimes we have found our location but want to see heritage or aerial imagery of the same location. Going back to full view is time consuming and frustrating for the user.

    Hi Stuart, thanks for highlighting this. It appears this issue is only present when switching to or from a Custom basemap. Switching between the standard Streets and Satellite views retains the user's map extent. I have captured this as a defect in our development backlog and a fix will be included in a future release.
